Question 1

Is this just an expensive sealer?

Accepted Answer

No. A sealer forms a sacrificial film on top of the surface and wears away. A nano coating penetrates the pores and bonds chemically to the material itself, which is why it does not peel and why it lasts on a completely different timescale.

Question 2

How is this different from roof rejuvenation?

Accepted Answer

Rejuvenation products are aimed at roofs that have already dried out and lost their flexibility — the pitch is "restore it instead of replacing it". A nano treatment is about keeping water out of the surface in the first place. They are two different jobs: one tries to buy back years you have already lost, the other stops you from losing them. On a roof that is still sound, protecting is cheaper and it holds up better.

Question 3

Will it change how my house looks?

Accepted Answer

That is the point — it should not. The finish is invisible: no gloss, no darkening, no colour shift. The only visible difference is what happens the next time it rains.

Question 4

How long does it last?

Accepted Answer

It depends on the surface, its condition and how much weather and traffic it takes. A horizontal driveway that gets salt and tires all winter will need attention before a vertical brick wall will. We give you the expected service life for your specific surfaces with your quote.

Question 5

Can it peel, flake or yellow?

Accepted Answer

There is no surface film to peel or flake. Over time the water-repellent effect gradually fades rather than failing all at once — when the beading weakens, the surface is ready for a refresh.

Question 6

Is it safe around kids, pets and plants?

Accepted Answer

We follow the manufacturer safety data for every product we apply, including cure times before a surface is back in normal use. We will walk you through exactly what to expect on application day, and the product safety sheets are available on request.

Question 7

How long does the application take?

Accepted Answer

Most residential jobs are done in a single day. You do not need to be home, though most people like to watch the first water test.

Question 8

Does it work on an older roof or driveway?

Accepted Answer

Usually, yes — as long as the surface is structurally sound. A coating protects what is there; it cannot repair what is already failing. If we think you are better off replacing first, we will tell you that instead of taking the job.

Question 9

Does it stop ice dams?

Accepted Answer

No, and anyone who tells you otherwise is selling. Ice dams are an insulation and ventilation problem. What a coating does is shed water faster and reduce how much moisture the surface absorbs in the first place.

Question 10

What does it cost?

Accepted Answer

Pricing depends on surface type, square footage, condition and access. The instant quote on this page prices roofing in about three minutes without talking to anyone. For other surfaces, send us the details and we will come back with a number.

Question 11

Do you offer a warranty?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Coverage depends on the product and the surface, and the terms come with your written quote — in writing, before you commit to anything.

Question 12

Do you work with property managers and condo boards?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We do portfolio assessments across multiple buildings and give you a written scope and price your board can take into a reserve fund study. We schedule around tenants, parking and access, and you deal with us — not a subcontracted crew.

Question 13

Where do you work?

Accepted Answer

Winnipeg and roughly 80 km around it — Oakbank, Dugald, Anola, Springfield, Lorette, Île-des-Chênes, Niverville, Steinbach, Selkirk, Stonewall and the communities in between. Farther out? Ask us.
